Culinary & Art Festival in and around St. Anton am Arlberg, 18.8.-9.9.2018

The 4th Culinary & Art Festival is the ultimate definition of a well-rounded affair. For an entire month, 40 star-awarded chefs, 30 top vintners and 30 acclaimed performers will treat St. Anton and the immediate area to vernissages, unplugged cooking sessions at mountain huts, top-caliber dinners and exciting musical performances, certain to captivate guests one and all. With Eckart Witzigmann and Gérard Depardieu as the “culinary patrons”, Axel Bach, president of the festival and owner of Hotel Tannenhof, presents the most extensive program this festival has ever seen!

18/8, from 6 p.m. – Opening at the Gampen mountain station (1,850 M)
Opening of the festival with star chefs Tanja Grandits (CHE), James Baron (AUT/GBR), Rebeca Clopath (CHE), Olesya Drobot (RUS), Rebecca Clopath (CHE), Titti Qvarnström (SWE) und Anna Matscher (ITA) – including an extensive show program.

19/8, 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. – Opening Vernissage
Opening vernissage in the Arlberg 1800 art hall in St. Christoph with Elvira Bach, Nikolai Makarov, Michael Fischer-Art and Michel Würthle

19/8 11:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. – Open-Air Culinary Campus
Open-Air Culinary Campus in the park of the St. Anton Museum with star chefs Kevin Fehling (DEU), Sebastian Zier & Moses Ceylan (CHE), Lucio Pompili (ITA), Anna Matscher (ITA), Titti Quarnström (SWE), Hans Jörg Bachmeier (DEU), Sascha Kemmerer (AUT), Rebecca Clopath (CHE), Jeremias Riezler (AUT), Clemens Nachbaur (AUT), Benjamin Parth (AUT), Thorsten Probost (AUT), Christian Rescher (AUT), Lukas Nagl (AUT), Josef Steffner (AUT), Günther Döberl (AUT), Domingo Jabonero (AUT) and Olesya Drobot (RUS).

25/8, 5 p.m. – Gourmet Gondola to the Summit
From the Galzig valley station to the summit of the Valluga at 2,811 meters above sea level, where a multitude of star chefs will cook for their guests: with Norbert Niederkofler (ITA), Edi Dimant (AUT), Hans Jörg Bachmeier (DEU), Vladimir Muhkin (RUS), Andrea Tortora (ITA), Nenad Mlinarevic (CHE), Gustav Jantscher (AUT) as well as performers Roxane Depardieu, Jean Michel Coll, Matthias Kranert, Gerry Regitschnig, Hernan Isla Salazar and The Talltones.

26/8, 6 p.m. – Berlin Hedonism / Eat! Festival
Berlin master chefs from the EAT! Berlin Festival – awarded six stars in total – cook for guests at the Sennhütte in St. Anton.

29/8, 12 p.m. – at the Darmstädter Hütte
Funky dumplings and local food, with combo “Knedl & Kraut” live

30/8, 3 – 4 p.m. – Gala Fashion Show
At the Herminenstollen, top models present creations by Paul Gaultier, Calvin Klein and Prada. A genuine eyecatcher.

31/8, 7 p.m. – Piano on Lake Verwallsee
Pianists Karolin & Friederike Stegmann perform on two mighty Steinway grands, anchored atop a raft on Verwallsee. Meanwhile, guests on shore will dine on delectable grilled foods.

2/9, from 3 p.m. – Hut Safari with Chefs, Art & Music
From the Gampen mountain station, back down towards the valley. At three hut stops along the way, gourmet hikers are greeted with finest regional cuisine from “Kocherei Arlberg” and chefs of Koch.Campus.

8/9, 6 p.m. – East meets West / Farmer meets Chef
Organic farmer Simon Vetter supplies the products for a vegetarian menu created by star-awarded chef Maximilian Moser at Hotel Schwarzer Adler in St. Anton.

9/9, from 4 p.m. – Countdown The Final
At Hotel Tannenhof, two legends partner up: Albert Adriá and Dionne Warwick – with good vibes guaranteed by DJ HP Hoeger!
